I am a qualified integral counsellor providing individual time-limited and longer term counselling. I work with a range of issues including:

I believe in the importance of seeing the whole person and as an integral counsellor I take into account what is happening for a client emotionally, mentally and physically and how they experience the world from their own family, cultural and social perspective. I use a range of therapeutic approaches as appropriate to the individual.

Registered Counsellor

Find out more about the BACPI am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and am bound by its Ethical Framework for Good Practice in Counselling and Psychotherapy. I hold a Certificate in Counselling Skills and Diploma of Higher Education in Integral Therapeutic Counselling. I am a Level 2 graduate from the Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Institute.

A Range of Counselling Experience

My counselling experience includes work with clients at MIND and with charities providing support to individuals in later life and young adults with life-limiting conditions. Having completed specialist training, I also work with survivors of sexual abuse and violence. I am a Mindfulness practitioner and have completed appropriate teacher training to use Mindfulness skills with clients and deliver the eight week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction programme. I hold full Professional Liability Insurance and enhanced DBS check. I am in regular supervision and engage in Continuing Professional Development.
